How to make a fluffy cake
1 cup of sugar
4 spoonfuls of butter
4 cups of flour
1 cup of milk
baking powder or baking powder
lemon or orange peel

The first step in preparing your fluffy cake is to vigorously beat the sugar with the butter; you can do this with a hand whisk or an electric whisk, as you prefer. To make a fluffy cake, we recommend beating the mixture until the butter turns white.
Add the egg yolks to the cake mixture one by one and continue beating to obtain a smooth dough.
In addition, beat the egg whites with a little salt to obtain the right texture and make the cake soft.
Add the egg whites to the rest of the ingredients and mix gently; you can also add the lemon or orange zest, as you prefer.
The next step in making a fluffy cake is to sift the flour to avoid lumps and add the baking powder or yeast. Add it little by little, alternating with the milk and mixing everything well.
Make sure there are no lumps left in the cake batter and butter the tin you will use to bake the cake. Make sure you can turn it over.
Preheat the oven to 180ºC, put the dish in the oven and leave it for about 40 minutes without opening the oven. To see if your fluffy cake is ready, poke it with a stick, knife or other object and check that it comes out clean; if not, leave it in the oven for a few more minutes.
